The frontline is long and extends way forward in time. There will be a moment when we all need a Buddy. There will be a moment when we can be a Buddy for somebody else.

In this time of crisis we might just need a helping hand from a colleague who knows.

We all need space to talk, to share stories and express feelings. Someone to watch our back. Even more so during this time of crisis. The door is open to you.

As NHS Clinicians we have all trained in hospitals together. We have weathered the storms. There is trust and support in sharing a story with a listening ear. Lets weather this storm together.

Consultant to Consultant. Trainee to trainee. We can support each other through this crisis. You volunteer your time as a clinician buddy or you ask for support as a frontline medic. We will connect you together.

Confidential communication

We help you find each other on the Dr Julian App, an NHS approved provider. Your details and data are encrypted to the NHS Data Kit Standard. Your Buddy will then contact you. Send messages between each other or arrange a convenient time to talk. You both take it from there.

Clear boundaries

Clear guidance

This is not therapy

This is a buddy!

“Just knowing that someone is there is enough. They call that containement”
